Our treatment provides resources and support for you and your family

The holistic approach to our drug and alcohol treatment programmes includes working with you to improve your overall well-being as well as improving your health and reducing your dependency. And because we know that often it is hard to do rehab alone, we also offer support and counselling for family members so they in turn can rebuild relationships with you and give you support.

Medically assisted detoxification and nurse care
One of the most important aspects of drug rehab or alcohol rehab is to reduce your dependency in a careful and monitored way. We use medically assisted detoxification where necessary. In these cases, medical professionals supervise your detox and may administer other medications to help reduce your cravings for the original drug or any physical symptoms you have. Alternatively detox can be done without medical intervention. We have nurse care and counsellors available for this option.

    Counselling, mentoring and group therapy
Talking about your addiction may be hard, but getting to the root of your dependency can help you to move on from it. Often people have turned to drink or drugs for another reason before the addiction takes hold, perhaps as the result of a family situation, a traumatic life event or simply experimenting with the wrong things. Talking though these issues in both individual and group settings can help you define a new path to move forward.

Yoga, meditation, massage, exercise and nutrition
We offer these sessions and classes as part of our approach to improving your entire mental and physical well-being. Yoga and meditation have been used for centuries to reduce stress and help centre the mind and spirit. When used as part of addiction recovery they can help you become more focused and reduce anxiety in situations where you might otherwise turn to drugs or alcohol to cope. Proper exercise and nutrition is also key to moving forward to a more normal life and helping your body cope with the changes of not using drugs or alcohol any more.

Private rooms for space and solitude
While working together with others who share similar experiences can help, we understand that you also need time alone and space to process your recovery journey and to build strength for your new life. For that reason we offer private rooms rather than shared accommodation. A private room gives you a place of solitude and somewhere to retreat to at the end of a busy day.

Each day at the centre incorporates time for different activities with classes usually taking place in the morning and therapy sessions in the afternoons. We provide all meals for you on site.
