Celebrating Sobriety From Alcohol Or Drugs - It Is Achievable

Drug and alcohol addiction can be an insidious and destructive journey. As we look at celebrating our founder’s sobriety, let’s look at some wise words from Brene Brown that may resonate with you. “For now, I want to share three inspirations that form the cornerstones of how I live into my sobriety.” Perseverance, Patience, and Positivity. You too can celebrate sobriety from alcohol or drugs. Meet Kobus and his family. This is their story.

Sobriety from alcohol or drugs is achievable with work and support.

In recent years, those who have become sober and stay sober have taught us that it’s possible to live a fulfilling happy life without alcohol or drugs. As Rob Lowe once said, ”Sobriety was the best gift I ever gave myself ”.

Sobriety is important for your health and your relationships with people around you.

Alcohol is the most abused drug in the US and there are more than 100 million people who are struggling with alcohol use disorder. The most significant lessons were learned through Alcoholics Anonymous (AA).

So don’t take our word for it, this is what our past program attendees and House of Hope Rehabilitation Centre guests have said:-
  • John Such an amazing place for those that have hit rock bottom. There is no judgement, they only care about your wellbeing. When I first arrived, I was so broken and thought beyond help, but they made me feel like family as soon as I walked through the door. The tools they supply you with are so valuable on your road to recovery. I cannot speak more highly of the staff; they are absolutely amazing and caring and witty. If you need help this IS the place for you. A massive thank you to Kobus and his team for restoring me to sanity and a healthy normal life without addiction. My family also cannot thank you enough.

  • Talia When I arrived in December of 2020 I was morally bankrupt. I had lost all of my sense of self-worth and couldn’t see a future that wasn’t drenched in misery. House of hope has given me exactly that – hope. A future worth living, a sense of belonging and ongoing support that means the world to me. I can’t recommend Kobus and his team highly enough. 20 stars out of 5.
